I was frail from birth and diagnosed as unlikely to live past coming-of-age, but after falling into water I awakened. Only then did I learn that I was the early-dying "white moonlight" in an angsty romance novel. The heroine of that novel is my half-sister. The medicine I took every day was brewed by our parents using her heart's blood. After I died, because she resembled me, our parents vented their grief by beating and scolding her.
