Dry Weather, Beware of Firewood – Part 2

About this story

Phất Liễu, a genuine “star of misfortune,” lives with more resentment than a ghost! By day she works overtime until she’s nearly a vengeful spirit; by night she’s pinned down in sleep by a water ghost. Just as she expects life to drag on this way, a coworker commits suicide, leaving behind a pile of encrypted documents and an unusually persistent obsession. Phất Liễu calls souls, decodes documents, and wonders: “How is everyone suffering this much just to live?”
