I messaged Nhạc Nhạc and told her to turn on the video in her room. It was a video filmed in a bedroom. It looked ordinary, but a ghost appeared every two minutes.

The main character in the video was dressed rather provocatively, enough to draw attention.

Imagining the “big spenders” watching intently, only to get scared half to death and “snap out of it,” I couldn’t help laughing.

Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt was happily waiting for the “big spenders” to come back.

Before long, the two “big spenders” returned to the livestream.

As soon as she saw them enter, she looked at them as if she could see a mountain of money right in front of her. “So, how was it, guys? How was the ‘merch’? Time to send your little sister a Carnival, right? Look, this is my actual cousin—she just graduated!”

Comments began popping up:

[You little demon, still asking for a Carnival? Want a slap?]

[Hey, give us our money back!]

[And that Porsche from yesterday, too! Give it back! You think you can mess with me?]

“If you don’t pay me back, I’ll come right to your door. I know where you live!”

[Think you’re so smart? You think you can play me?]

I glanced over and realized they were all “big spenders” who’d leveled up quickly.

So she’d lured them into private chats to set them up.

The group of “big spenders” felt cheated, so they all demanded their money back from Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt.

How could Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt possibly afford to pay them back?

She was the type to earn a dollar and spend ten. I guessed she couldn’t scrape together even a thousand by now. Besides, yesterday we’d given her a thorough “fleece.”

“Hey, maybe you’ve got the wrong idea?”

[Wrong idea, my ass! Give me my money back! You dare scam me?]

The more they argued, the nastier the language got.

In a panic, Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt blocked the two “big spenders” and deleted them from her friends list.

In response, the two men called in more people, and they all reported her livestream.

Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt’s account already had a low trust score, and with so many reports piling up—not to mention that she was the kind of streamer who pushed the boundaries with sensitive content—she was “rewarded” with a three-day livestream ban.

Hearing her scream from the next room, all I could think was, serves her right!

With her livestream banned, Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt had no choice but to go to the management company and ask to be paired with me for a joint livestream.

She had only a few thousand followers, while I already had more than fifty thousand. Everyone knew what she was trying to take advantage of.

But the company didn’t care. As long as its streamers made as much money as possible, that was all that mattered. They forced her to livestream with me.

Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt showed up in my livestream, meticulously made up and wearing a tight dress.

When she saw the viewer count climbing, she immediately started swaying her hips. “Everyone, if you like Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt, remember to follow! My name is—”

Before she could finish, I muted her mic.

No gifts, no spot on the leaderboard—she just wanted to freeload? I couldn’t refuse the company, but I could mute her mic!

At that, Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt’s face twisted.

When I turned the mic back on to start today’s livestream, she suddenly looked at me with a taunting smile. “Hân Hân, we’re still following the script today, right?”

Her words instantly set the livestream chat ablaze.

[??? Did I follow a fake streamer? The whole thing is staged?]

“No way, she’s just saying that to mess with her. If it really were staged, who’d be stupid enough to admit it?”

[You wicked woman, making up nonsense! Someone drag her off and feed her to the dogs!]

The livestream chat split into two camps: one didn’t believe her, while the other, already suspicious, seemed to have found the proof it needed.

[I knew it! How could a girl do this kind of livestream all by herself?]

[Fraud! Go demand a refund from the platform for everyone!]

[Disgusting. Report her! Come on, everyone, report her!]

[If this livestream is fake, I’d rather watch a horror movie. Report her now!]

The jealous viewers immediately seized the opportunity to report my livestream.

Soon, I received a risk warning from the platform.

At the sight of it, Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt could barely hide her smug smile.

“Huh? Hân Hân, didn’t you just mute the mic? What’s going on?”

It was obvious she wanted me to get in trouble just like she had.

After all, as a fellow streamer, she’d pretend to let it slip by accident. From then on, people would have serious doubts about whether my livestreams were genuine.

My number-one fan, Tiết Nhạc Nhạc, was furious when she heard that.

[I told you this woman was crazy. Having a relative like that is just bad luck!]

[What do we do now? This is outrageous. She’s such a snake! If she’d just made one joke, that’d be one thing, but she practically admitted it outright.]

[I’m so mad!]

But if I’d dared to let her join my stream, how could I let her smear me so easily?

I ran straight up to the rooftop and filmed a full sweep of the area.

“See? Is this staged? Is there a crew here?”

“If anyone still doubts me, come see for yourself. Location: Long Thành High School!”

“She’s not my coworker. She’s the boundary-pushing streamer in the next room. I barely know her; the management company arranged this, and I couldn’t do anything about it!”

“She wanted to ride on my coattails and get some traffic just now. When I muted her, she deliberately tried to sabotage me.”

After saying that, I took a picture of the gate of Long Thành High School.

The words “Long Thành High School” were clearly visible on it.

There were still plenty of people in the livestream chat shouting that I was making excuses.

[How could the people in her livestream chat be wrong?]

[A slip of the tongue is still a slip of the tongue. It’s no different from those fake mukbang videos. Come on, everyone, report her!]

A few seconds later, before I could explain any further, my livestream was shut down.

Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt looked at me smugly. “Well? They shut you down, huh? What are you going to do if you don’t stream at least twenty-five days this month?”

“I told you, people should keep their feet on the ground and stop playing tricks. Sooner or later, you’ll get found out.”

Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt still probably didn’t know why those big spenders had turned on her. Maybe she thought the camera or the website had caught a virus.

Otherwise, I really couldn’t understand why she’d dare come over and pick a fight with me when there was no one else around.

We still hadn’t retrieved that camera. We’d only “accidentally” covered it with something.

But that didn’t matter. She was here now, so she’d be easy to deal with.

“Do you know why I came to this school?”

At that, Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt froze, then shot me a glare. “Why would I care what you came here for? What does it have to do with me? You’ve been banned anyway. What can you do to me?”

“If you’d just listened to me and helped me get some traffic, that would’ve been great! How dare you refuse me!”

“You really have no shame. You won’t even send me a gift, but you expect me to get you more followers. Are you my granddaughter or something? Call me ‘Grandma’ and I might reconsider.”

“Do you know what kind of place this is?”

“People have died here before. Some hanged themselves, some jumped from the building, and one poor soul was bullied to death in the bathroom.”

“Do you know where you’re standing right now?”

“Right beneath the feet of the girl who hanged herself.”

I was someone who had “come back from the dead.” I could see things other people couldn’t—but Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt couldn’t.

When she heard that, the smug look on her face vanished, replaced by a bewildered one.

Still, she tried to keep her composure. “Don’t think you can scare me just by saying that!”

I shrugged. “My livestream’s been shut down. Why would I bother putting on an act? If you don’t believe me, turn around and see for yourself!”

“Her feet are dangling right over your shoulder~”

“Does your shoulder feel heavy?”

Actually, I’d meant to tell her from the start, but Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt hadn’t given me the chance.

Well, now she was in a fine mess. Her livestream had been shut down, and she could cry to the heavens all she wanted, but no one would hear her.

I pulled out a paper talisman I’d prepared earlier, lit it, and waved it in front of her.

“Look up! Her cloth shoes are still resting on your shoulder!”

Lương Nguyệt Nguyệt instinctively looked toward her shoulder.

In an instant, she saw a pair of cloth shoes caked in dust.

“Aaaah! Help me! Somebody help!”

She screamed and tried to run toward me.

“Are you ready? Hee-hee. Tonight’s show isn’t going to be a livestream! I have you to thank for ending my stream early~”

I dragged her aside like a dead dog, then tied her up with a rope and made her face the girl who’d hanged herself.

She’d secretly filmed me to make money, tried to steal my good fortune, and now she’d gotten my livestream shut down, trying to ruin my livelihood. I’d put up with this for long enough.
