Before, Hell Bro’s fans all cursed me out. Now they’re all begging me.

[Your Majesty, please save Hell Bro! We’ll send you a Carnival!]

[Please! From now on, we’ll all be your most devoted fans!]

For a moment, the screen was flooded with Carnival effects, and I was so delighted I couldn’t put it into words.

I hadn’t liked scumbags like him to begin with, but with everyone begging me like this, what else could I do? I might as well go.

Still, I couldn’t take care of it in front of everyone.

If this room filled up with bloody images, the livestream would get shut down.

“Darlings, I’m going to log off and pray for your Bro. Don’t worry—Hell Bro will definitely make it back alive!”

What shape he’ll be in, though, is hard to say!

Without wasting a second, I flashed over to the shrine.

A group of people were prostrating themselves before the huge cross. At their head was a girl in red, murmuring, “All evil spirits and filth, be driven away by fire and cleansed… With blood as the spell, with souls as the offering, worship the moon!”

As she recited the final words of the spell, the girl in red abruptly stood up and shouted, “The time has come! Offer the sacrifice and bow!”

An old man promptly brought over a tray. A woman holding a dagger walked toward the cross.

“Don’t move! I’m warning you, don’t do anything stupid. Do you know this is against the law?”

Only then did I notice that the person nailed to the cross wasn’t just that charred figure—Hell Bro was there too.

He was nailed to the blackened corpse in an extremely bizarre position.

Fresh blood kept dripping from his wounds.

Several porcelain plates had been set on the ground to collect Hell Bro’s blood. Each one was nearly half full!

The girl in red slowly approached, picked up a plate, and drained it in one go!

Then it was time for the next game!

Ignoring his pain and terror, Hell Bro hurriedly begged for his life.

“Xiao Li, I never betrayed you. I truly wanted to take care of you. Did you misunderstand something? Let me down. We can talk this out, okay?”

The girl in red seemed to find that hilarious. Her voice turned cold as she said, “A misunderstanding? You haven’t done anything wrong by me?”

“You’ll never realize what you’ve done wrong, so you might as well die!”

With that, she drove the knife toward Hell Bro’s stomach. He let out a bloodcurdling scream, squealing like a slaughtered pig as he begged for help!

“Stop!”

Just then, I threw two small ornaments. One struck the girl’s wrist, the other her knee.

She cried out in pain, dropped the knife, and fell to her knees.

At the same time, the two small ornaments hit the ground and suddenly turned into solid beings.

The one with a green face and fangs was the Tar Demon; the one with its long tongue hanging out was the Long-Tongued Demon.

The two demons rolled around on the ground, then got up and started tormenting the villagers.

The Long-Tongued Demon wrapped its tongue around more than a dozen people.

Some tried to run. Not a chance!

The Tar Demon’s body seemed to melt, stretching into strands of tar that glued the villagers trying to flee to the ground.

Screams rang out nonstop inside the shrine.

Hell Bro cried out excitedly, “I’m here! Your Majesty, you really came to save me?”

“Are those two special-effects actors? They’re so convincing!”

He was so noisy. I winked at the Tar Demon, and a blob of tar immediately sealed Hell Bro’s mouth.

The girl in red was stuck fast in the tar too, unable to move. She said bitterly, “I was just one step away! Why would a demon come to help him? Why? Why?”

I shook my head. “I think I should clear something up. First, I’m not a demon. Those two are my assistants. Uh, we’re all good people…”

“That’s not important. The point is, I didn’t come to help him. I came to help you!”

“That scumbag deserves to die, but you had a bright future ahead of you. Why throw it away for him?”

The girl turned her head away stubbornly. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

I sighed. “Your village has worshiped the moon for generations. The chosen holy maiden can only stay in the village and worship the moon; she can’t be with a man. You were determined from a young age to escape, so you ran away early, found work, paid for your own education, and struggled to make a life for yourself. Your older sister, meanwhile, became the next holy maiden.”

“Then one day, your older sister excitedly told you she’d escaped too. She’d met a handsome, gentle man online and was going to be with him. You were genuinely happy for her.”

“But later, the villagers caught your sister and brought her back to drain her blood. Then they burned her alive as an offering to the moon. You got the news because that man posted a video of himself dating your sister online, letting the villagers find out and catch her. You want revenge.”

“Explosives have been planted in the shrine. Once they’re set off, everyone here—including you—will die in the flames!”

The beautiful eyes of the girl in red suddenly turned scarlet, and tears welled up. “That’s right! I want revenge! Doesn’t he deserve to die? If he hadn’t posted my sister’s video online and exposed where she was, the villagers couldn’t have found her! He got my sister killed! And she’s not the only one—other girls whose dating videos he made public couldn’t bear the online attacks and judgment. So many girls killed themselves because they couldn’t take it!”

“And these villagers—they’re ignorant, and they’ve killed so many people. I want the entire village buried with my sister!”

I listened as she poured out her heart and nodded, smiling eerily. “They’re wicked, so of course you should have your revenge. But if it all ends like this, that would be letting them off far too easily.”

Dying isn’t frightening. What’s frightening is spending your whole life consumed by fear! And the nightmare will keep coming back until the day they die.

The famous man with millions of followers had been controlled by a cult. News that he’d been nailed to a cross and nearly died spread all over the internet in a single night.

The poor man had suffered such a severe shock that he became erratic. Even in his sleep, he’d jolt awake, wailing that someone wanted to kill him.

Strangely, the people in that cult village showed symptoms just like the famous man’s, leaving everyone utterly baffled.

No one knew the whole story, but bringing down a cult and successfully rescuing the hostages was a good thing. However, during the investigation, the department in charge found nothing else unusual, so in the end, they had no choice but to close the case.

He’d once been a handsome internet sensation, so netizens all felt sorry for him after what happened.

As for me, I’d warned him about the disaster that awaited him long ago, and I became famous overnight. My fan base shot up to two million! But that’s a story for later.

“Your Majesty, I want to go back to school and start studying again… Thank you!” The girl in red smiled and thanked me.

“Ha ha, it’s nothing. Girls help girls, right? Remember to do lots of good deeds from now on!”

That day, I created a dream for everyone in the shrine.

The villagers who believed in the cult and had killed so many people all dreamed that a horde of the spirits they’d cruelly murdered was chasing them, torturing them in every way before killing them.

Hell Bro dreamed of the girls he’d hurt in the past. One by one, they went from beautiful to bloodied, burned to a crisp, and reached out their withered hands to demand his life.

That terror was buried deep in their hearts and would stay with them for the rest of their lives!

The girl in red dreamed of her older sister, who was as gentle as she’d been in life. Her sister told her to keep moving forward without looking back and to work hard for a brighter future.

Good and evil always meet their due. Eradicating evil—and earning a little spending money along the way—is the reason my livestream exists!

I think I’ll keep doing it!

Today, I got in touch with a sweet-looking girl who seemed to still be in high school.

In an innocent voice, the girl said, “Your Majesty, do you think my stepfather and I can stay together until we’re old? He says my skin is so fair and smooth, and that he married my mom just for me!”

Me: ?!

What the hell is this?!

…

The stories in Her Majesty’s livestream room go on. If your intentions aren’t pure, you’d better watch out!

(The End)
