Karmic Lunchbox
About this story
When I was selling offal hotpot by the roadside, the future “evil villainess” was being kicked out by her stepmother. The system urgently urged me, “Hurry! This is the turning point that will make her turn dark!” Panicking out of my wits, I hastily pushed my cart away, but unexpectedly dropped my dinner lunchbox. The next day, the girl—the future evil villainess—came up to me holding an empty lunchbox. “Sister, you dropped this yesterday; I picked it up.” I looked at the box and asked, “Then where is the food inside?” She avoided my eyes and said softly, “When I picked it up… it was already empty.” The system jumped up angrily: “See! She already knows how to lie at such a young age! No wonder she later becomes a villainess who specializes in sabotaging the male and female leads!” I turned away and said casually, “Then you must be remembering wrong. My lunchbox was full of food; this empty one probably isn’t mine.”
